Seven Seals
The book had seven seals. The Lamb opened the first. A white horse held the conqueror, to defeat all that were cursed. The second seal's red horse's sword took peace from all the land. The third seal was a black horse, with balances in his hand. From the fourth seal came a pale horse. His rider's name was death. He killed a fourth part of the earth, of all in whom was breath. On the fifth seal under the altar, were those slain for the Word of God. At the sixth the earth quaked; the sun went black, and the moon did turn to blood. The kings, and rich, and mighty men, bond and free said we are damn. Cried, mountains come and fall on us, and hide us from the Lamb. After this I saw four angels. They made all the winds be still. They said hurt not the earth 'till we have sealed the saints of Israel. Twelve thousand from each tribe. One forty-four in all. Then behold a numberless multitude who obeyed the great Lamb's call. When the seventh seal was opened, heaven silenced all around. Saint's prayers came up with incense. Seven trumpets prepared to sound.
