Romans 1:1-6:23

Paul was a servant of Jesus, who wished to come to Rome.
He was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. He had gladly left his home.

He taught the just shall live by faith. God reveals himself to all.
Without the law we know right and wrong, though all men sin and fall.

The law does not save, in fact it condemns. None is righteous no not one.
It's not what we do that brings salvation. It is faith that makes us God's son.

The Old Testament and law are not just a story.
They teach all have sinned and come short of God's glory.

Take Abraham's life. Works did not justify.
His faith made him righteous, while his body would die.

We are justified by faith. With God we have peace.
God commended His love. Life with Christ will not cease.

So by Adam came sin. One man and his wife.
But Jesus forgives. One man brought us life.

If we're saved, shall we sin? We have grace after all.
God forbid. Honor Jesus. He redeemed us, taught Paul.

We were servants of sin. Now we're servants of Christ.
While sin's wages are death. God's great gift, is life.
