1 Samuel 15:1 - 1 Samuel 16:12

The Philistines when back to their homes. For now, God put them on the shelf.
Saul also went back to his place, and God used him in spite of himself.

He fought Moab and Ammon and Zobah, the Philistines and Amalekites.
God gave him the victory 'ore Israel's foes. Let him win at all of the fights.

Then Samuel said, Saul, remember, after Egypt God gave us this land.
Said destroy the Amalekites. We disobeyed. Now let it be done by your hand.

Leave nothing alive, not the cows or the sheep. This time it's total defeat.
But Saul saved the king and some cattle and lambs. Samuel said, Saul, I hear them bleat.

You keep disobeying and doing what's wrong. It's the people to blame, said Saul.
You're the king and you've chosen to do this your way. One day God will make your house fall.

To obey is better than sacrifice. With our stuff God is not impressed.
The only thing valuable you can give God is obey. That is giving your best.

You've rejected the word of the Lord. Now God says He has rejected you.
Saul grabbed Samuel's mantle as he left and it tore. Saul said Samuel what can I do?

It's to late you keep doing the wrong thing. God will tear the kingdom away.
He will give it unto your neighbor. It is settled. God decided today.

Samuel left one last time from Saul's presence. He never saw Saul again.
What God says we should do. Don't let this be you. Obey God and run from sin.
