Luke 24:13-53, John 20:18-21:25

Jesus goes and returns, four more women he meets.
This time they all worship and hold both His feet.

On the road to Emmaus with Cleopas and another.
Has dinner and shows them all the prophets have uttered.

In the mean time the women tell disciples again.
But they still don't believe. An upper room they're within.

When Jesus appears. He says be not afraid.
They look on in terror. Then His hands He displayed.

It is I. I'm alive. With you I now eat.
Poor Thomas wasn't there, but one day they'll meet.

Then Jesus leads the disciples out near Bethany.
Thomas when told, says, no way! He must show me.

Eight days later Jesus did. And Thomas was there.
Touch my hands and my side. I believe now. I swear.

After all this and more, surely this was enough.
Peter says, I go fishing. Convincing these guys was tough!

That night they did fish. Then a man on the shore,
calls, cast your net out and you'll catch even more.

Good Lord guys. It's Jesus. Can't wait for the boat.
Peter jumps in the water and swims wearing his coat.

Then later in Galilee they meet on a mount.
There some worship Jesus, but some there still doubt.

Before Jesus left He told them what to do.
Go you therefore and teach. So send I you.

Jesus gave His commission, and ascended again.
And finally the disciples preach His word to all men.
