Near the time of the Jewish Passover, then consulted the Pharisees and Priests.
They wanted to arrest Jesus. Surely He'll come to the feast.

Six days prior He visited Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
Martha made supper as usual. Mary worshiped Jesus instead.

She poured very costly ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair.
Judas said, what a waste. The truth is, he didn't care.

Rather he was a thief and held the purse. Said the poor just missed three hundred pence.
Jesus rebuked him. Said let her alone, as He came to Mary's defense.

Many people came to see Jesus, and Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.
You would think the priests would now believe, but they tried to kill Lazarus instead.

The next day as Christ entered Jerusalem, crowds cut palm branches from the trees.
Jesus entered riding a donkey, as the people waved the leaves.

You can imagine the wrath of the Pharisees, as they heard, Hosanna to the king.
They were angry their plan was not working. Just listen to those people sing.

Jesus said my time has come. He spoke of his death on the cross.
If a corn of wheat falls on the ground it dies and all appears lost.

If it doesn't die it stays alone. One small grain by itself.
But if it dies it sprouts and fruits. No longer one grain on a shelf.

If you save your life you'll lose it. But if you live your life for me,
Your life will count for more than now. It will count for eternity.
