John 10:1-21

A robber enters the sheepfold by climbing over the wall.
The shepherd comes through the door, and the sheep all know his call.

He calls them each by name, and he leads them in the way.
The stranger they'll not follow, or listen to what he'll say.

The people didn't understand the meaning of His word.
So this time Jesus spelled it out so they'd know what they heard.

I am the door of the sheep. Thieves and robbers came before.
Salvation only comes through me, as I said, I am the door.

The thief comes just to kill and steal and destroy, but that's not me.
I am come to give you life, and that more abundantly.

I am the Good Shepherd, who lays his life down for the sheep.
When trouble comes the hiring runs. He leaves the flock he claims to keep.

Israel is one flock, but other flock I also hold.
I'll gather all my sheep into one flock, and to one fold.

I'll give my life, to save my sheep. Jesus cleansed us all from sin.
No one can take my life from me. I lay it down and take it up again.

As they listened some said he's a devil. Others said, he's lost his mind.
Believers said, He's come from God. Who else could heal the blind?
