Proverbs 14:1-20:30

There's a way that seems right, but leads unto death.
True right exalts a nation. Sin robs it of breath.

A soft answer is wise. It turns away wrath.
But grievous words, make crooked your path.

When man's ways please the Lord, his enemies melt.
Pride goes before destruction. Soon the fall will be dealt.

Meet a bear rob of cubs, than a fool in his folly.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother makes jolly.

A fool who is silent, is oft counted as wise.
He that shutteth his lips, shall not be despised.

He who finds a good wife, gets himself a Godsend.
And a man who has friends, has to be a good friend.

Chasten your son. Don't spare for his crying.
Better to be poor, than a man who is lying.

Wine is a mocker and strong drink brings rage.
A child's known by his doing, e'en before he's full age.

Curse mother or father and with out a doubt,
Proverbs warns that your lamp will be quickly put out.
