Galatians 1:1-6:18

I marvel you're so soon removed from the gospel of Christ's grace.
This gospel that I teach to you. Jesus taught me face to face.

When I shared what Jesus taught to me with Peter and the others,
They agreed, as they would teach the Jews, I would teach our Gentile brothers.

But old traditions, they die hard. Even Peter got carried away.
I stood up to him and he agreed, traditions made him stray.

It is not by the works of the law. By faith we're justified.
We live by the faith of the son of God. With Christ we're crucified.

Don't frustrate the grace of God. Don't listen to this flaw.
Jesus Christ by no means died in vain. Why did God give the law?

The law, it was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ.
Like Abraham we believe God's word and faith brings us new life.

You need not live like Jews. They need not live like you.
Through Christ we all are brothers. There's no difference in the two.

We used to be God's servants. Now God made you His son.
Not Bound to the law, but freed by grace. Salvation's work is done.

And if sons, you have God's Spirit, and that's what changes you.
No longer loving sin and hate the way you used to do.

Now we live in love and peace and joy, long-suffering and grace.
Now faith, meekness and temperance, have taken evil's place.

Bear one another's burdens. In meekness help each grow.
Use your life to serve, for as Christ taught, we will reap what we sow.

Do not tire of doing good, especially towards your brothers.
As you have the opportunity, do the same to all the others.
